The new TV spot for Californian walnuts is catchy! Because the sweetheart of all walnuts - a nutcracker - sings his version of the Simple Minds classic "Don't You (Forget About Me)" in the spot, making it clear that the walnut can be perfectly integrated into the daily diet throughout the entire year.
The early spring campaign focuses on the walnut as a year-round product. California walnut are versatile and perfect for cooking, baking and as meat substitute.
The new TV spot will gain a lot of attention and accompanying marketing activities will further boost the demand for California walnuts.
In February 2021, the creative TV and digital campaign, will be launched with a reach of 20 million consumers. The image campaign will be integrated on all digital channels. Additionally, there will be extensive POS activities, such as a shopping cart promotion, radio advertising and informational promotion activities.
The commercial will further be integrated into the national (“Snacking, Mixing, Baking, Topping!”) and global (“Power of 3”) campaign.
