Walnuts are ideal to produce snack bars. Delicious, nutritious, with omega-3 fatty acids and versatile. The market potential of snack bars is still growing.
Chop walnuts coarsely and mix with cranberries.
Put the other remaining ingredients in a pot and boil until the mixture reaches approx. 160 °C.
Then fold in the nuts and cranberries quickly but stir carefully. Pour the mixture in a cake pan lined with baking paper. Once mixture is cooled, cut out bars according to desired size.
