The California Walnut Commission (CWC) will launch a new digital campaign in Germany starting in late May, aimed at increasing brand awareness and driving retail sales of California walnuts.
The campaign focuses on positioning walnuts as the ideal summer snack and versatile ingredient – perfect for picnics, BBQs, and casual outdoor dining moments. Traditionally, the nut category tends to experience a quieter period during the summer months. With this campaign, we want to inspire consumers during the warm season and keep walnuts top of mind beyond the classic winter usage period.
This broad-based digital campaign will present California walnuts as a fresh, seasonal ingredient for creative recipes, healthy snacking, and grilled dishes alike.
With this initiative, we aim to support retail partners, manufacturers, processors, and importers in capitalizing on rising demand for high-quality walnut products – even during the typically quieter summer season.
