The California Walnut Commission looks back on two successful industry events: Anuga 2025 offered numerous opportunities to exchange ideas with manufacturers, importers, and retail partners. Innovative product ideas and new approaches to using walnuts – in both snacks and baked goods –were particularly in demand. The international exchange, including with Pamela Graviet (Senior Marketing Director, International – CWC) from California, provided valuable impulses for further market development.
Snackday 2025 in Frankfurt – organized by dfv Conference Group & foodservice – also focused on new snack trends. Panels and presentations discussed current developments such as smart snacking, snacks to go, and the role of social media. For the California Walnut Commission, Snackday was an important platform to network with decision-makers from retail and industry and to gather new ideas for the future of snacking.

Both events demonstrated how dynamic the snack market is and how versatile California walnuts are as an ingredient and snack.
